Originally established as a business in, or about 1895 Saint Faith is the longest established dental surgery in East Grinstead by a very long way.

The business, which was originally located in Cantelupe Road in East Grinstead, was started by Mr Alfred Burt. He was joined by Mr Griffin in 1922 who took over the surgery and worked in the town until his retirement in 1953, at which time the practice was taken over by Mr Dolby. Mr Dolby remained with the practice until 1967, when he moved to the west country.

In 1962, Dr Derek Ryan joined the practice for 3 weeks “as a favour” to Mr Dolby and 43 years later, still runs the private patient surgery and is also responsible for managing the day to day running of Saint Faith at its current location in Halsford Park Road.

Since its relocation, the business has grown and now provides a full range of dental and beauty treatments to help with overall wellbeing.
